The Dramatic Drama and Siya: 2021 Wrap-up

Heyyy! So yeah, you don’t need to tell me that I’m pretty late on posting about my year so far, but I’ll still do it!

How did 2021 treat me?

I’ll try to go month wise but guys, I don’t write down what I do every month so there are surely gonna be some months where I won’t remember the thing I did. bear with me~

Well, this was the time when covid started increasing again. It had went down in December ’20 but you know what I just realised, it likes coming back and increasing a lot after new year. But, we handled it and there wasn’t much I did then. Just stayed home doing whatever my brain wanted to-

February was like the worst month of all, I don’t wanna recollect more things but I lost my cousin brother, who was just 3 years older than me. Which is why, I didn’t do anything that month because I was out of town for most of it and I wasn’t at all in the mood to watch movies or do something. This part of 2021 did not treat me well at all, but okay we got through it!

Yipeeee birthday month😂 Something finally that made me happy and also, covid started decreasing a bit, and luckily I got to celebrate my birthday with my family and my bestie…..it was soo much fun🤍 I turned 14 this year and my parents gifted me 14 giftsssss and my bestie baked me a cake for the party which was sooo tasty!

Oh, and guess what, the execution of The Dramatic Drama started in March~

Thank god, deliveries were still on! OH WAIT NO, I also went into 9th standard and had 20 days of school to start off, why did I just remember that-

Uhm not a thing. My schedule was – Eat. Pass time. Workout. Binge. Sleep. Repeat. Guys, why do I seriously think I’m making sooo bored, pleaseee tell me you aren’t because my year wasn’t that productive😭😭 I’m sorry I’m not able to think of anything interesting🥺 I did go for a 2-day trip but the only interesting thing I’m telling y’all is what I watched in that month. which, for May are:

Ahhh my oppa’s birthday month! I’m just 14, I don’t have a boyfriend. I’m talking about Lee Min-ho~~

I was sooo excited for the whole month, just for his birthday, even though I knew I won’t be doing anything😂 Lord, give me some memory of June. I started school again after much great holidays and had to prepare for MCQ tests, but uh those are easy so I was a little laid off. We had to wear uniforms, turn our video and sit for the classes, which sucks a lot, and we’re still doing that, and if we don’t, we would be thrown out of class but at least our concentration used to be more concentrated! And I read a book, which was One Of Us is Next (of course, the sequal of OOUIL) and completed it sooo quicklyy😂

Also, I got my first taggg and my first ever award in June✨ I was soo damnn happy!

I couldn’t post anything on the blog though! I really wished I could but I didn’t get the time to and I had to think about what movie should I review next, so basically I was in a blogging slump?

Yayy so my dad’s birthday was soon and I was under all the pressure of collecting videos from all my family members, take old pictures, new pictures, our pictures and make a video out of it which was what I did for the first two weeks. My cousin sister came home after some days of the celebration and we watched soo many movies together, like we used to legit not sleep till 5 or 6 am😂 It was just a month full of fun. I thought we would have our mid-terms but thank god, they got postponed to September or I would have been studying for the whole month and missed the excitement of dad’s birthday! Me, my sister and my cousin also finished the Divergent movie trilogy in 1 day because trust me, the first 2 movies are intriguing but I didn’t like the third one much because the story was incomplete and the movie got cancelled for a part 2 :// anywaysss~

Ganesh Chaturthi and mid-terms clashing is the worst thing anyone can ever think of, especially someone who celebrates the festival so ritually! We had a 5 day holiday and then exams just the next day😒I was gonna ask my mum to put up a complaint in school to postpone the exams at least for some days (yes, I cried in front of her because it’s just unfair), but of course, we had to give the exams. So I had to spend my holidays studying, though I did enjoy side by side! Also, my exams went amazing, I scored 92% which was my initial aim!💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 I was pretty happy after the exams got over and even cut a cake, because why not?

Oh and yeah, we also went for a family trip this monthh, which was sooo fun! Our first trip outside the state after covid hit! It’s a very rare situation when me and my sister get over with our exams at the same time so we took the chance and made plans very suddenly and went for a short tripp✨

Ahh so I went to my cousin’s house this month, who’s around my sister’s age but we’re veryyy close! And the one and only thing I was excited for in October was for the One Of Us Is Lying’s series to releaseeeee! And omggg the episodes came in ever Tuesday and there were 8 episodes of almost 1 hour each and I still remember I used to reload soo many times and check whether the episode has come in or not! Ahh good times🤧 Ohh wait I remember now! October was a month full of new releases. My exams finished and there were soo many releases lined up on Netflix – I love it when this happens!😂

But, my sister went back to hostel, I came back home and I was so bored that I had no idea what to do because heck yes I had decided to NOT study at all! Cmon who studies just after exams? So, I called my sister and she was like start Friends (I acted as if okay, yeah, I will but the internal me was screaming and dancing and screaming😂)!

AND WE PASSED 100 FOLLOWERSS! Now I guess you know why am I calling October the happiest month🥺🥺

Soo many things happened in November? To start off with, Diwali! This was the first Diwali when we didn’t get to celebrate with my sister because she was in hostel, and tbh, I missed her way too much than I thought I would. BUT, I was very excited for the main day as I could not wait to wear my new dress and eat the food. I also started a celebrity scrapbook that month (comment down if you want to see what all I have done, I’ll make a different post for it). After Diwali, I went to my maternal grandparents’ house to celebrate Bhai Dooj with my cousins and it was soo fun because it had been a year since I met my naughty little sister there!

My best friend’s birthday was coming up so I also had to think about what to do for her. We took a few friends and celebrated her birthday and hung out a lottt! We had such a good time, I keep reliving that day in my head!

Me and my mum took out the old albums and had a look at all the pictures…it was such a nice journey down the memory lane🥺🥺 It’s like the best thing to do with your whole family, just laugh at all the pictures and take snaps of some!✨

LAST MONTH OF THE YEAR? yup. Most of us were wondering when and how 2021 flew away, because really it went away too fast than we expected it would. My sister came back for a few days so I was busy being happy and it was her birthdayy! But we like couldn’t celebrate much because we were busy planning about mum-dad’s 25th anniversary! December was really a month full of fun! I had exams from 10th but well, they were justtt multiple choice so who cares. And don’t even start me with the number of birthdays in December…likeee soo many! There were sooo many things happening in December. The only thing I was waiting for was Cobra Kai season 4 but well, the other things mattered too. If you have read my November wrap-up, you must have seen the December calendar I made! If not, go and check it out!

We all went for a short 2-day trip with my grandparents and my mom’s sister’s family! It was sooo much fun, but we of course were tired of the travelling because we travelled to many places in just two days and the distance between all the places was like between 6-7 hours🥲 We all went in a bus and okay, I can’t disagree with the fact that family trips in a bus are a vibe, a total vibe!!

AND CHRISTMASSSSSSS! AND NEW YEARRRR! The two things that made us realise that 2021 was ending soon which it already has. And I hope 2022 goes really well and more productive, to be specific!
