Just humming a song! #1

Hello everyone! I’ve been thinking of writing this post since many days and it’s been sitting in my drafts without a word. I wanted to keep something rhyming as a title, but I was out of names so this is what came to my mind. And the only reason is that songs are the best escape to boredom. No one has only one set of favorite music, right? Therefore, Part- 1😄

BOLLYWOOD MUSIC –

1. Sham – Amit Trivedi, Nikhil D’Souza and Neuman Pinto

This movie has been my childhood. My sister loves this movie so much and I can now understand why! The songs – very soothing. The cast – just lovely. The storyline – a perfect movie to watch!

My favorite song from this movie is Sham and I really recommend you to listen to song and watch the movie as well.

Ye kaisa samay hai, kaisa samaa hai

Ke shaam hai pighal rahi

Yeh sab kuch haseen hai, sab kuch jawan hai

Hai zindagi machal rahi

2. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan – Prateek Kuhad and Jasleen Royal

Though I haven’t seen the movie yet, I loved the songs composed – A LOT! My favorites include all the songs of this movie. If I have to ask you to listen, don’t listen to this song only, but the whole playlist of this movie – I know you’ll love it! The tunes, the lyrics – everything will make you feel so calm.

Kho gaye hum kahan

Rangon sa ye jahan

Tedhe-medhe raaste hai

Jaadui imaaratein hai

Mein bhi hoon

Tu bhi yahan

3. Baarishein – Anuv Jain

This is that type of song which you just listen to on and on just because the lyrics, the words, the meaning is so strong. I love Anuv Jain’s songs only because they are so heartwarming that something happens within you while listening to them. Words are not enough to express this song.

Jab baarishein barasti hain

Pagal jaise thirakti hain

Tum jaisi ho bus wesi hi raho

HOLLYWOOD MUSIC –

1. Driver’s License – Olivia Rodrigo

The song is her story. The whole SOUR album is her story. She’s so incredible at the age of 18. It’s hard to choose a favorite set of lines from this song. I listen to it so repeatedly – addicted, I guess! I’m sure that everyone here must have already heard this song hundred times, but for those who haven’t, go and listen to it right now!

And I know we weren’t perfect but I’ve never felt this way for no one

And I just can’t imagine how you could be so okay now that I’m gone

Guess you didn’t mean what you wrote in that song about me

2. Say You Won’t Let Go – James Arthur

I might say James Arthur is my favorite singer. His voice and his words are so deeeep, you can’t even describe! I love how he can just touch your heart through a song. It’s raining outside, you’re sitting near your window cuddled in a quilt and you’re listening to James Arthur – that’s what he makes you feel. His voice is magic. His songs are magic. His words are magic.

When you looked over your shoulder

For a minute, I forget that I’m older

I wanna dance with you right now

Oh, and you look as beautiful as ever

3. Photograph – Ed Sheeran

Life is incomplete without Ed Sheeran’s music. Be it Shape Of You, Perfect or Thinking Out Loud. He is extraordinary in everything. And I LOVE HIM – like, who doesn’t! I love his words, his music and his everything. Photograph was also a deep song, a very deep song – because that’s what we know who Ed Sheeran is! I don’t think there is anyone here who hasn’t heard even one song by Ed Sheeran.
