A tag and an award (:

Howdy people! Has this been a great month for you? Because – nah, it hasn’t been “GREAT” for me. You know, the phase where you’re so irritated, you don’t wanna do anything, not watch TV, nor read a book – I suffered that a lot of times this month because well, a) I have been scrolling through my Netflix watchlist and be like, “Huh, I’m not in the mood, let’s watch this later and bleh whatever” and b) Online school is b o r i n g. But, I had your posts to read, so that was at least one entertainment! Coming to the tag and the award –

NEVER HAVE I EVER BOOK TAG

Okay, before starting, I must say – I’m not an avid reader. So most of the answers will be difficult to answer because I haven’t read many books.

  7. Have fun!

QUESTIONS –

Never Have I Ever…read a later book in a series before reading the first book

No, I don’t think I have done this, because I don’t like skipping the book where the story gets a start. Even if it is an extra book, gimme and I’ll read it. I just don’t like doing it.

Never Have I Ever…burned a book

Oh yes, I haven’t done it yet, but school books – the only things I’ve ever wanted to burn, especially during exams. Never with novels or story books!😂 For an answer, no I haven’t burned a book.

Never Have I Ever…read a book I knew I would hate

Nah, I don’t think I have done this. I always read the books suggested by my best friend. Her taste in books is 99% same as mine, so….I do enjoy them at the end of the day.

Never Have I Ever…loved a book when I was young and hated it when I got older

I have a book which my cousin sister gave me when I was in 3rd grade and it was a pink fat book with pages of golden border (so pretty, ikr?) called – Disney’s Princess Stories. I re-read that book soo many times in a year and the only stories I loved were the one which had Cinderella and Belle in it. And I hate that book now, I don’t even know where it is!😂

Never Have I Ever…dressed up as one of my favorite literary characters

No, I haven’t!

Never Have I Ever…hated a book by an author I love

I don’t really have a favorite author. I have MANY favorite authors and I have read only one or two books by each one of them. I was a bit sad after reading a book but not “hate”.

Never Have I Ever…gone into a bookstore to buy one book and come out with many more

I’m laughing so hard right now. I went to the library to buy a Thea Stilton book one day (the time when EVERYONE in the world was mad for the Stilton’s), but came out with MANY more books!😂 I guess each and every person who reads books must have done this!

Never Have I Ever…read the end of a book before reading the beginning

I just flip to the last page and take a peek, but never read the whole page – I hate spoilers!!

Never Have I Ever…read a book without the dust cover

I loved reading story books when I was young, so my dad took me to a library and the lady there, gave me a “100 short stories of Tenali Rama” book; that was the only book I’ve ever read with a dust cover. Because I like to read paperbacks or hardcovers – they just have a different feel!

Never Have I Ever…skim-read nearly half the book

I did this while reading The Princess Diaries series. It wasn’t half the book, but the parts where she used to tell her schedule or explain her princess training with Grandmère – all the places where the things she was telling weren’t important! But I love The Princess Diaries series aaaa lot and I have re-read it at least 4 times until now.

Never Have I Ever…pretended to have read a book that I haven’t

Uhm, why would anyone do that?

Never Have I Ever…seen the movie before reading the book

I read the book if it is better than the movie. I watch the movie if it’s better than the book.

Never Have I Ever…had a book boyfriend

MANY! To start with – Michael of The Princess Diaries and Nate of One Of Us Is Lying!

Never Have I Ever…read a history book or anthropology book for fun

I don’t like history and anthropology so that’s a straight no.

Never Have I Ever…picked up a book based on the cover alone

Cover is actually one of the things that attracts me towards a book, but I even try to know what the story is about. So this must have happened at least once in my life.

Never Have I Ever… kept reading a series even if I didn’t love the first book

As I said, I haven’t read many books so I don’t think this has ever happened with me.

Never Have I Ever…read a book so quickly that I don’t remember what happened by the end

Again a no. I don’t like quick reads. I like enjoying the book in my own pace with an amazing atmosphere.

Never Have I Ever… recommended a book I haven’t read

I have done this. I haven’t read the book but I know it’s great so I recommend it to people who come looking suggestions.

Never Have I Ever…written a one star review

All the books I’ve read are a 3-5 star, so no, I haven’t written a one star review.

MY QUESTION –

Never Have I Ever…dosed off while reading a book

QUESTIONS –

What is the worst movie you’ve ever watched?

I don’t know. There might be 2 or 3 if you give me a record of all the movies I have watched in my life. Because I watch sooo many that I tend to forgot which one’s I liked and which one’s I didn’t!

What’s your favorite food?

To be honest, I love anything which has Chicken.

Do you like the horror genre (in books, shows, movies)?

Oh, yessssss. I haven’t read any horror books, but I’ve watched almost all the famous horror movies known, like Annabelle, Insidious, Conjuring, Veronica, etc. – and I LOVE THEM!

Do you watch booktube? Why or why not?

Actually I don’t. I don’t know the reason, maybe because I just like reading blogs rather than watch people speak. And I also don’t watch YouTube so much compared to other people.

Favorite action movie?

My father LOVES watching action and thriller movies, so it’s a hard questions, but…if it counts watching only one movie from the whole movie series – Mission Impossible.

Name a book with a trope you love.

Nate and Bronwyn – Friends To Lovers – One Of Us Is Lying.

Who’s the most cinnamon roll character you’ve met in books?

Michael Moscovitz.

Do you play any musical instruments?

No, I don’t. I always wanted and still want to learn guitar. I have tried a few times, but the shuffling from chord to chord is a TASK.

Fairies or elves?

Fairies!!!!! Because mostly all the time, they’re shown to have magic and well, they can flyyyyyy.

Do you prefer historical fiction or science fiction?

Sorry, but does ‘neither of them’ count?

What’s a book with a twist that left you shocked for ages?

It wasn’t that major a shock, but as I have already said, I haven’t read many books. I was shocked for a month. It was The Princess Diaries. And the twist was (*spoiler alert*) when Mia leaves Michael just because he didn’t tell her about Judith and the time when he breaks out the news of going to Japan for a year, or maybe more!

  1. Hey, I love Princess Diaries 👑📕 too. I have read all the books except the 9th and the 11th book and watched both the movies atlist 10 times. I used to skip the princess training parts too.

    1. Oh, the book is sooo adorable!
Do read both of them! i have watched the movies but I didn’t think they were same as the book…so I preferred the book!
Haha, they were not so interesting to be read seriously😂

      1. True, the movies are nothing like the books. I’ll prefer the books over the movies any day but the first movie was not so bad. I really enjoyed watching it but I guess the second one was abominable.
